Andrew Buck, AICP (he/him/his)

With over a decade in urban planning and design, Andrew has pioneered initiatives for decarbonization, climate adaptation, and digital transformation. Starting his planning career in Asia, Andrew has built a specialty in integrating digital technologies with the urban planning and design practice to tackle complex urban challenges. In his work along the East Coast, his diverse projects span community planning and facilities master-planning, infrastructure modernization and future-proofing, smart cities and communities planning, and climate planning. Andrew's approach is marked by leveraging data science, AI/ML techniques, geospatial analytics, and digital twin technologies to enhance the planning and design process and outcomes. An active member of the American Planning Association, he champions technology-driven, sustainable urban development, emphasizing inclusivity and equity. Andrew's professional philosophy combines technological innovation with a commitment to socially equitable urban solutions.
