Alison LeFlore, AICP is an Associate/Senior Planner at Stantec. She is also the President of the Masscahusetts Chatper and sits on the Executive Committee of the Planners of Color Network. She works on a wide variety of project types including comprehensive planning, neighborhood planning, environmental justice anaylsis and outreach, shared use path feasibility studies/preliminary design, and resiliency planning. Her clients are primarily municipalities and DOTs. She has led complex proejcts in communities large and small across the United States. The common thread in her work is planning for equity and bringing under-represented and under-resourced populations into the planning process. She specializes in equitable community engagement and helping clients balance their often-competing priorities. She identifies the tools and techniques that allow clients to leverage assets and implement their vision. Alison is a skilled facilitator who uses creative engagement techniques to make the planning process fun and compelling for all participants. She especially enjoys working in disadvantaged communities, including low income and majority-minority communities. Alison creates reports, maps, graphics, and other materials that are easy for the public to understand while conveying the technical nuances of complicated planning and engineering projects.
