Megan Day, AICP is a Senior Energy Planner at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory where she serves as the lab’s subject matter expert on state, local, and tribal planning for equitable clean energy transitions. Most recently, she led the LA100 Equity Strategies modeling and analysis teams, identifying community-guided pathways for an equitable transition to 100% clean energy in Los Angeles. She led the Sustainable Communities Catalyzer and State and Local Planning for Energy (SLOPE) platform and Scenario Planner, which provide jurisdictionally resolved energy and equity data and projections. Megan has a background in large-scale solar development, nonprofit leadership, and climate action planning.
