Kei Hayashi has extensive experience advising clients on innovative financing and development strategies for real estate projects. She led an economic development financing and real estate practice through her leadership position at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), where among other responsibilities she was the executive director of the New York City Industrial Development Agency (NYCIDA). At the NYCIDA, Kei developed tax-exempt bond programs to assist a range of borrowers–from small industrial and non-profit entities to large governmental issuers. Project highlights include: Value Capture Analysis for Friends of the BQX; Hudson Yards Financing; PepsiBottling Company; USTA Tennis Center; American Airlines and Terminal OneGroup financings at John F. Kennedy Airport; NY Presbyterian Hospital; and Brooklyn Navy Yard Cogen. She holds a BA from Wesleyan and an MPA from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs.
