Katie Axt is an urban planer and Assistant Vice President at WSP. She has over 17 years of experience, specializing in waterfront planning, maritime transportation, and infrastructure design. Katie's expertise focuses on climate resilience, coastal resource management, environmental permitting, and wetland restoration. In her current role, Katie was the co-project manager and technical lead for New York City's PlaNYC: Getting Sustainability Done, the project coordinator for New York City's Strategic Energy Master Plan, the project lead for the State of Georgia's first electric ferry vessel, and the environmental permitting lead for the State of New Jersey's dredging and dredged material management program. Prior to joining WSP in 2022, Katie worked for the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the New York State Department of Envrionmental Conservation, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
