Samantha is a Certified Planner and a LEED Accredited Professional for Neighborhood Design and has a Masters of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. Her comprehensive background includes large-scale master planning and transportation planning in the private sector, as well as experience in all phases of urban design, city planning, landscape architecture, and public engagement. Most recently Samantha was a Senior Long Range Planner with the City of Lexington’s Division of Planning. Beginning in April 2023, Samantha took on the role of Senior Associate and leader of the new Lexington, Kentucky office of the planning, architecture, and landscape architecture firm of TSW Design, based out of Atlanta.
Samantha has served as guest professor/lecturer at the University of Kentucky’s College of Design, and Adjunct Professor for the Community Design and Engagement Studio in the Department of Landscape Architecture since 2018.
Samantha currently serves as the Chair of the American Planning Association Kentucky Chapter’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee and sits on the National APA Change Ambassador Group.
