Leigh Ann Von Hagen, AICP, PP, is a Managing Director and Adjunct Professor with the Voorhees Transportation Center at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. She is dedicated to creating healthy, active communities that cater to individuals of all ages and abilities. Leigh Ann's expertise lies in initiatives focused on enhancing pedestrian, bicycle, and micromobility safety, promoting health and equity, and improving access through a holistic approach encompassing research, training, education, and community engagement. Leigh Ann manages the NJ Department of Transportation’s Safe Routes (saferoutesnj.org) and Bicycle and Pedestrian (njbikeped.org) Resource Centers and is a founder of New Jersey’s School Crossing Guard program (njcrossingguards.org.) She also conducts continuing education training on Health in All Policies (phci.rutgers.edu.)
