Camille T. Hadley, a dedicated advocate for community and environmental justice, has been nominated for the "Lead Brevard's Top 12-4 Under 40" award. Originating from Compton, CA, she began her journey by restoring Compton College's accreditation and addressing food insecurity through her nonprofit, Tartar Marketplace. Camille's efforts garnered recognition, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Award and acknowledgment as the most improved faith-based organizer by the Los Angeles Metropolitan Churches.
She received training from the California Endowment Foundation and became a two-time fellow of the Greenlining Economic Summit. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California State University Dominguez Hills, Camille now serves as Co-Founder and Executive Director of Little Growers Inc. in Brevard County, FL, focusing on environmental challenges.
Her involvement extends to organizations like the Leadership Council for Anthropocene Alliance, the South Brevard NAACP Environmental Justice Committee, and the Sierra Club and Women's Earth Alliance Grassroots Accelerator for Women Environmental Leaders. Camille's dedication shines through her participation in projects, conferences, and panels, where she shares expertise and strategies for building sustainable, equitable communities.
