Nicole Marcus is a Program Analyst for the Office of Community Planning and Equity Zones at the Chicago Department of Public Health, where she advances evaluation, reporting, and quality improvement efforts. She previously supported the West Region Healthy Chicago Equity Zone (HCEZ) as a Project Coordinator. Her background is in urban planning, public policy, and community development. Prior to CDPH, Nicole worked at Austin Coming Together, a collective impact nonprofit in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, as a community liaison and attended The Ohio State University, where she studied urban planning and economics. She will be completing the MA in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning program at Tufts University beginning Fall 2024, where she hopes to explore the intersection of health equity and urban planning.
