Born and raised in Hawaii, Tippe Morlan moved to Utah in 2010 after finishing her Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Management, and Planning at the University of Southern California. She completed a Master of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University, and a Master of Tourism Administration from the George Washington University School of Business. She became passionate about tourism planning and cultural preservation while volunteering at the Thai Community Development Center in Los Angeles, and discovered travel hacking in graduate school which quickly became her biggest hobby. Tippe has visited 87 countries, 45 states, and all 7 continents since graduate school, all while maintaining a full-time desk job. She currently works as the Long Range/Senior Planner for the City of Saratoga Springs. She is also serving a term as the APA Utah Chapter President and the Divisions Liaison on the Chapter Presidents Council Executive Committee.
