Tom Weber is a longtime journalist and writer who spent more than a decade as a reporter and host for Minnesota Public Radio before transitioning to the communications world. He was assistant director of communications at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minn., for four years before recently joining The Minneapolis Foundation as senior director of special initiatives.
Tom sits on the planning commission in the Minneapolis suburb of St. Louis Park and is the author of “Minneapolis: An Urban Biography,” which was published in 2020 and updated in 2022 by the Minnesota Historical Society Press.
