Jordan Kocak, AICP, is a transportation planner and the pedestrian and bicycle coordinator for Hennepin County, Minnesota. As part of Hennepin County's Transportation Planning Division his work involves the study, planning and design of pedestrian, bicycle and roadway infrastructure with an emphasis on creating safe and comfortable facilities and roadway crossings for everyone. This includes the study and design of 4- to 3-lane conversions, implementation of bikeways and improved safety for pedestrian crossings. Jordan develops programming to encourage county staff and residents to incorporate walking and biking in their daily lives. He has a Master of City and Regional Planning degree from the Bloustein School at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
