Sean Hayford Oleary is a city council member for Richfield — Minnesota's first "bicycle-friendly suburb". He has a master's degree in urban planning from the University of Minnesota. Sean has been a longtime advocate for streets that are safer for walking, rolling, and biking, including leading a resident campaign for one of the region's first major protected bike lanes in Richfield, on 66th Street. He is a League Cycling Instructor, and past contributor and board member to Streets.mn, a regional blog about safer streets and development. He is particularly interested in the interface between complete streets and facilitating high-quality redevelopment.
