Elizabeth has over twenty years of experience as a Historian/Architectural Historian. She has been a co-owner and principal of Hess, Roise and Company since 2020, and has worked with the company since 2002. She has worked on a variety of projects ranging from National Register nominations (Peavey Plaza) to historic tax credit projects (W Minneapolis Foshay) to Section 106 compliance reviews (Third Avenue Bridge). She is a founder and former board chair of the non-profit Preserve Minneapolis and past board chair of the Minnesota chapter of DOCOMOMO US, a non-profit group that promotes the preservation of Modern properties.
