Charla Sloan, Transit Director of Oklahoma’s largest rural transit System, KI BOIS Area Transit System (KATS). She has been in transportation for over 36 years.

KI BOIS Area Transit System is operating 239 vehicles in twelve counties, contracts with ODOT, INCOG, Head Start, Cities, Department of Human Services (TANF), Tribes (Cherokee and Muscogee Nations, Oklahoma Health Care Authority (SoonerRide), Department of Rehabilitation Services, Veterans Ride Connect, AAA Area Aging (KEDDO and EODD) Work Routes and PICK transportation (on demand services in several areas with VIA Technology.)

She is the State Delegate for Oklahoma with the national association CTAA and serves as chair of the Advocacy and NEMT Committees for the Oklahoma Transit Association.

She has served as President of South West Transit Association 2010 – 2012
She has served as President of Oklahoma Transit Association 2004 – 2007
Served on the National Review Board for RTAP – 2014 - 2017
