Bria began working at the City of Minneapolis in 2021, following the compltion of her MLA at the University of Minnesota. Since then, she has worked on a variety of projects from smaller scale pedestrian treatments to larger scale reconstruction projects. In addition to her work on the Racial Equity Framework for Transportation (REF), Bria has worked on executing a number of REF actions - devloping processes and tools that focus on equitable engagement for transportation projects, plans and programs. Prior to joining the City of Minneapolis, Bria worked in international development where her work focused on sustainable infrastructure, disaster response and community planning.
