Deanna Dupuy is the City Planning and Design Manager for the City of Boise, shaping plans at all scales to guide the physical and economic development of the rapidly growing city. Deanna has led key Boise projects including the Modern Zoning Code, Boise Pathways Master Plan, and the North End Neighborhood Plan. Previously Deanna was a regional planner focusing on active transportation for the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG). Prior to her career in urban planning, Deanna was an elementary school teacher. Deanna holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in history from Occidental College.
