Ramona Mullahey brings her diverse experience and insights gleaned from working in the areas of community education, planning and development in a variety of capacities: private consulting, nonprofit, and government. Her work with APA range from forums to involve youth in community planning to the development of APA’s Aging in Community. Policy Guide.
Ramona currently serves as Senior Management Analyst (Field Policy & Management) for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development - Honolulu Field Office where she collaborates across-sectors on Agency priorities including HUD’s Climate Action Plan. Along with Honolulu’s Emergency Management Director she co-chaired the ‘Bouncing Forward’ Work Group’ established to develop the Ola O’ahu Resilience Strategy as part of Rockefeller’s 100 Resilience Cities Initiative. Part of her work focuses on community resilience in all its dimensions. She fosters a network of community-designed resilience hubs and assists in planning USGBC Hawaii’s Build and Buy Green training events. She currently promotes leveraging the unprecedented resources of the IRA, IIJA and HUD’s Funding Navigator to support climate action/solutions and expanding the toolkit to include climatetech
