Jennifer Senick, PhD, is Senior Executive Director of the Rutgers University Center for Urban Policy Research, Edward J. Bloustein School of Urban Planning and Public Policy, New Jersey, USA. Practice areas include the Built Environment and Green Building, Energy Infrastructure, Planning and Policy, Evaluation Research and Fieldwork Methods, and Environmental Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement. Dr. Senick leads program and policy evaluation work for the NJ Board of Public Utilities Clean Energy Program and is a member of the Rutgers Energy Institute and the NJ Climate Change Resource Center. She is co-chair of the Sustainable Planning Design and Behavior Knowledge Network, Environmental Design Research Association, a Trend Scout for the American Planning Association, and active in the APA International Division. Additionally, Dr. Senick serves on the Board of Trustees of Children’s Specialized Hospital, RWJBH and is active in disabilities rights work including as founder and advisor of Rutgers new disability studies minor and as a steering committee member of Nature: Access for All, New Jersey Division of Disability Services. She earned a PhD in Urban Planning and Public Policy from Rutgers, an MA in Political Science from UCLA and an AB in Government and Russian from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, ME.
