Jason Schmidt has been involved in local government for over 15 years. As a city planner and economic development professional, he has experience with all types of development in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He is currently the Assistant Port Authority Administrator for the City of Bloomington focused on project management of redevelopment, economic development, and housing projects. Before joining the Bloomington Port Authority in 2017, Jason served as a Planner for the City of Bloomington and a Project Planner for the City of Fitchburg, WI.
