Ramona Huckstep has been with the Missouri Municipal League since 2014. As a Policy and Membership Associate for the League, she works with member municipalities to address questions and concerns; leads an environmental policy committee; and hosts regional meetings/trainings around the state. As part of a team, Ramona assists with planning and hosting conferences for cities, towns and villages numerous times throughout the year and at various locations around the state. Before working for the League, Ramona worked for the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for almost 20 years as a Community Involvement Coordinator. She spent most of her time working for the Hazardous Waste Program managing environmental cleanups and conducting community outreach at federal facility sites that had historic contamination. Ramona attended Rutgers University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management. She received her Master of Science and Master of Public Administration degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
