Urban Design & Preservation Division Meeting

If you are interested in the design quality of our built environment, please attend the APA Urban Design and Preservation Division Annual Business Meeting. Our Division provides a nationwide community for idea exchange and relationship building for urban design and historic preservation professionals. We will discuss opportunities to promote the importance of urban design and historic preservation within the urban planning field.

In addition to a review of our budget, meeting our chair and executive committee, we will discuss our committee work and programs. You'll learn more about our emerging initiatives in collaboration with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the American Institute of Architects Regional and Urban Design Committee. We will also discuss the future of the Division’s successful Design-Preservation Rapid Assistance Team program, getting involved in the Student Planning and Design Competition for NPC 25 in Denver and our student scholars' program alongside other professional development opportunities.
