Zoning Administrator
San Francisco City-County
San Francisco, California
Corey Teague is the Zoning Administrator for the City & County of San Francisco, where he works to interpret and implement a large and complex Planning Code that attempts to respond to all manner of urban planning issues including land use, housing, transportation, impact fees, urban design, and many other topics. In that role, Corey works with elected officials and other stakeholders on new legislation to bridge the gap between forward-thinking policy and real-world implementation to help ensure code provisions and other standards are effective and able to be realistically implemented. San Francisco is often a testing ground for innovative new ideas that require the public sector to constantly evaluate and adapt in response. The emergence of Autonomous Vehicles is just one current example.
Corey holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Planning and Geography from Appalachian State University and a Master of City & Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
