Mikel Berra Sandin

We are 'Twin City Studios', a group formed by Sofia Chiappero, Zak Davidson, Hannah Leung, Cale Wagner and Mikel Berra, Master in City Planning students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From our diverse backgrounds as planners, architects, landscape architects, and designers coming from several countries, we are collaborating to reimagine the future of the New Nicollet site in Minneapolis, as part of the APA Student Planning and Design Competition.
Our proposal, enTwine, is inspired by the concept of linked cities and the blending of intersecting neighborhoods to create a new centrality. The project represents a future that integrates neighborhoods, transportation, and nature into a holistic urban environment.
