Jim Hubbell, AICP, is the Director of Solutions Engineering with StreetLight Data, where he helps a wide range of customers leverage the power of big data to solve complex, multimodal transportation questions in addition to driving enhancements to StreetLight’s software solutions. He believes in the value of performance-based planning and using data to drive smart, transportation related decisions. Prior to joining StreetLight in 2018, Jim worked for 18 years as a transportation planner with the Mid-America Regional Council, metropolitan planning organization for the greater Kansas City region, where he gained broad-based experience in the field. Throughout his planning career, Jim has stayed actively involved with APA, serving in various roles on the Kansas City APA Section Board. He currently serves on the ITE Data Committee, and previously served on the TRB Urban Data and Information Systems Committee.
