With over two decades of experience spanning public and private sectors, Alysia Davis Osborne is a seasoned professional in urban planning and community development. Currently serving as Division Manager/Assistant Director at the City of Charlotte's Planning, Design, and Development Department, she plays a crucial role in shaping the city's future. Alysia is notably leading the Charlotte Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan, a landmark initiative after nearly fifty years without a comprehensive plan.
Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Pre-Law from Tougaloo College and a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Jackson State University, Alysia's commitment to continuous learning is evident through certifications in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, Commercial Real Estate from Cornell University, and Municipal and County Government Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
